The commercial market always remains in the demand of lilies. A number of varieties are cultivated for fulfilling the market demand. 2. Climate and soil
Usually, Liliums are grown in greenhouses and the temperature can be maintained properly. There is a need for the maintaining the temperature range of 18-22 °C. At night there is a need of keeping the temperature within 10-15 °C. The soil type has to be sterilized and having a drainage system. The PH balance should be maintained within 5.5- 6.5.
3. Land preparation
The methods of land preparation are required to for increasing the growing capacity of the land. The first and foremost requirement is to plow the soil in the pots or the land chosen for cultivation. 6. Application of Manures and Fertilizers

Use of cold storage is very much important for keeping the flowers fresh. Providing a long life can be achieved by the proper use of cold storage even after the pluck.
